Daffodils are one of the most loved and popular springtime flowers in the world and poets have written pages in its appreciation. Plant you daffodil bulbs in late winter at a depth of 3-5 inches, the bulbs will sprout in a couple of weeks to flower in late spring. The daffodils flower once a year in season and then die back down till they sprout again. Do not prune the foliage once the flowers die down. Daffodils are great plants for beginners and new gardeners as they don’t need any specialised care. You can plant the bulbs closer together for a dense bouquet like growth and far apart to allow the bulbs to grow and multiply. They are great for both indoor and outdoor garden and can be potted in planters as well as directly in the ground.
Always check your plants before watering, the topsoil should be dry to touch. For succulents allow the potting mix to dry completely before watering again.
Place your plants on window sills where it can get the brightest possible indirect light. Bright indirect light is when the plant is within a couple of feet of a natural source of light.
