Iris flowers have around 300 varieties in the Iris genus. These famous flowers are available in two main forms: those that grow from rhizomes and those that grow from bulbs. They feature unique blooms that are made up of two different kinds of petals, falls and standards. The 3- to 4-inch flowers are usually multi-colored. Blue, bluish-purple, white, bronze, rose, gold, and yellow are the most common colors. Dutch iris is lightly fragrant and makes a good cut flower. Dutch iris is a spring-flowering bulb; its planting time is fall. It is a slow-growing, short-lived, easy-to-grow plant that will thrive in your garden to flower every year. They love the full sun in well-draining and rich soil medium with a slow release fertiliser. The Plant can be grown both in planters as well as in the ground.
Always check your plants before watering, the topsoil should be dry to touch. For succulents allow the potting mix to dry completely before watering again.
Place your plants on window sills where it can get the brightest possible indirect light. Bright indirect light is when the plant is within a couple of feet of a natural source of light.
